Mr.T & Uncle Larry , I would like to respectfully suggest an alternate title for this incredible unrehearsed jam on a beautiful song I later learned was called "Blue Sky". The spontaneous improvisation from both guitarists was so heartfelt and tasteful it misted up this old guitar playin acorn. I had never heard the song before and assumed it was one of Jedd's songs. So I goggled it and saw who wrote the song. With this in mind my title suggestion is "Complicated" in place on"Bonus Footage". Home Skooler DBl D

Good advice! Only listen unplugged! Unless you are buying a 50s or 60s real vintage guitar, then the electronics should probably be replaced anyway. Today, you can buy the world’s greatest hand wound pickup for $150 or less. $300 for a set! There are awesome pots, caps and wiring for just a few bucks. Get one that looks like you want and plays great then upgrade electronics if you need to. There are 50,000 people on youtube today that can play eruption note for note. Think about that! It is far easier to learn to setup a guitar and solder in new pickups.

Of course I'm familiar with Woody and Arlo Guthrie. I heard a lot of Arlo Guthrie in my house growing up. I'm Bobby and I was named after Robert Zimmerman. One of my dad's favorite guys to listen to. What a great musical upbringing it was with those laid-back artists.

Guthrie, I'm 57 years old last Friday. I spent 50 years in Northeast TN, and being judged is a given, people don't have much to do, obviously. I moved over to Hickory NC and married an outspoken high school teacher, we aren't winning a popularity contest, for sure. After COVID, most computer science/engineering jobs are work from home now, so I gave up the suit and the crew cut, and grew my hair back out, wearing old concert T-shirts, ratty jeans, and old tennis shoes or loafers. i bought a low grade ibanez that has been my main guitar for 15 years, it costed me 120€ in a pawn shop, there is something special about that guitar maybe it was customized by the previous owner, i dont know. its the sound , the entonation is just special! i have two more other guitars that costed me a lot of money but the sound doesn even come close to that one.... its wierd

reat vid great playing like that southern accent. I have Princeton reverb with ironman attenuator and like that setup. Background, i been playing only 2 years and no where to your playing and current live in sober living environment(been sober 2.5 years) and we have own rooms. So i try to be mindful of everyone. People work all shifts, i get up mad early and people say they rarely hear me play. I love my princeton and unless i start gigging or hit lottery doubt i really will ever need another Amp. I also have champion 40 w which doesn't compare but is adequate for heavier stuff. Just curious your opinion on attenuators they don't seen to be very popular option. I will try it unattuated later. I just always assumed that was suboptimal to play at 2

Thank you, Guthrie 🙏🏻 I learned to sing and love music because my mom would put on records and sing along with Linda Ronstadt, Hoyt Axton, Pete Seeger, Woody and Arlo Guthrie, The Eagles, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, and so many others ... it was in my teens that I picked up a guitar, after playing keys and violin and singing in the school choir.
